Course Description:
This course is designed specifically for irrigation designers, contractors, water purveyors, suppliers, and other irrigation professionals. Advanced concepts of irrigation design, uniformity, and technology will be discussed. The class emphasis is on water conservation in the landscape through better irrigation design skills.

- Focus: landscape water efficiency through better design for irrigation designers, contractors, water purveyors, suppliers, and other irrigation professionals.
- Topics include: advanced concepts of irrigation design, uniformity, and technology.
- Recommended prerequisites: proficiency in basic irrigation design skills and Principles of Irrigation and Landscape Irrigation Design courses.
- Math skills required: intermediate.
- Course includes: one day of instruction, manual, and pipe sizing software.
You must register with the IA at www.irrigation.org as well as with WaterEC for this course. There are also two separate fees as outlined below.

Cancellation:
To cancel registration, you must notify the Irrigation Association in writing within 24 hours of the start date of the class as well as WaterEC. Cancellations received before January 30, 2009, will be subject to a non-refundable processing fee of 35%.

Course Description:
This course focuses on emerging technologies to improve irrigation water management. Contractors can learn to use and install devices including ET-based controllers, and weather and soil moisture-sensors which have become more advanced in some areas and mandated in irrigation systems. Topics include device features, how and where to install, and practical applications.
