Course Description
As water costs increase and competition for its use become more intense, our industry is expected to more closely monitor its use. This class will give you the skills to estimate water use and costs. By combining your own local weather data with site specific planting and soil information, you will be able to better plan for, and budget, a site's watering needs. Those in the installation, design, or maintenance of irrigation systems will be able calculate a systems daily, monthly, or yearly water use at any stage of a project. You will practice what you learn through hands-on class work and through realistic case studies.
You must register with the IA at www.irrigation.org as well as with WaterEC for this course. There are also two separate fees as outlined below.
